Each full tour takes about 120 minutes and buses arrive roughly every 25 minutes, so you can hop off at any stop and rejoin the next bus. Service runs daily 6:15am–8:45pm from the main terminal near King Fahad Gate (No. 334) of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Audio commentary is available in 16 languages.
The Prophet’s Mosque is the heart of Madinah and the second holiest site in Islam. It is the tour’s main terminal, set beside King Fahad Gate (No. 334), and the ideal place to begin or end your journey. Its vast marble courtyards, the Green Dome and the surrounding museums make it the most visited landmark in the city.
As Safiyyah Museum & Park pairs a heritage museum with a landscaped garden — a calm, shaded, family-friendly stop a short ride from the Haram. The nearby Pullman Zamzam hotel is a handy landmark for finding it.
Al-Baqi’ is the historic cemetery on the eastern side of the Prophet’s Mosque — the resting place of many of the Prophet’s companions and family members. A place of quiet reflection, it sits close to the Seerah museums and the Sharia Courts Complex.
Al Manakha is a historic open square and market district just west of the Haram. Around it stand several of Madinah’s most storied small mosques, and its lanes are lined with shops and eateries — a lively place to shop for gifts or pause for refreshments.
Al-Hayy is a traditional Madinah neighbourhood best known for the Al-Maghislah heritage market — a chance to experience everyday local life, crafts and produce close to the historic centre.
Al Salam Gate is one of the grand entrances to the Prophet’s Mosque precinct. The surrounding area holds a cluster of significant sites — from the Saqifah of Bani Saidah to the Al Salam Museum — making it a rich stop for history and heritage.
History, culture & shopping — stops 5–12
At the foot of Mount Uhud lies the site of the Battle of Uhud (3 AH / 625 CE). Visitors come to Jabal Al-Rumah — the Archers’ Hill — and the cemetery of the martyrs of Uhud to reflect on one of the most significant events in early Islamic history.
Al Noor Mall is a modern shopping and dining destination in the north of the city — a comfortable, air-conditioned contrast to the historic sites, and a great place to rest, eat and shop mid-tour.
Sultanah runs along Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Road, one of Madinah’s busy commercial arteries lined with shops and restaurants. It offers a genuine taste of everyday city life and contemporary local shopping.
The Mosque of the Two Qiblas is where the revelation came to turn the direction of prayer from Jerusalem toward the Kaaba in Makkah. Its distinctive twin-mihrab history makes it one of the most significant mosques in Islam.
The site of the Battle of the Trench (5 AH / 627 CE), where a defensive trench famously protected the city. The area includes the Seven Mosques and Sela’ Mountain. Please note this stop is temporarily closed — buses currently pass without stopping.
Masjid Quba is the first mosque built in Islam; the Prophet ﷺ said that praying two units here equals an Umrah. Set among Quba’s green surroundings at the end of the Quba Walkway, it is one of the most rewarding stops on the route.
The Hejaz Railway Museum occupies the beautifully preserved Ottoman-era station that once linked Madinah to Damascus. Nearby stand the historic Al Anbaria Mosque and the Emirate of Madinah building — a striking cluster of heritage architecture.
Quba Square (Jadat Quba) is a lively public space at the heart of the Quba district, known for its festivals, events and fine-arts displays along the popular Quba Walkway — a relaxed way to round off the tour.
