Al Masjid an Nabawi

The Prophet’s Mosque is the heart of Madinah and the second holiest site in Islam. It is the tour’s main terminal, set beside King Fahad Gate (No. 334), and the ideal place to begin or end your journey. Its vast marble courtyards, the Green Dome and the surrounding museums make it the most visited landmark in the city.

Quba Mosque

Masjid Quba is the first mosque built in Islam; the Prophet ﷺ said that praying two units of prayer here equals an Umrah. It is reached by the landscaped Quba Walkway, and close by lies Bustan Al-Mostadhal — a historic orchard around the Well of Athq where the Prophet first stopped on arriving in Madinah, now a shaded garden. Nearby, the Al-Seera Experience tells the story of the Hijrah in Arabic and English.
